Not the old plastic pedal which used to fall apart. This one has an aluminium cage.

The spindle has the Brompton logo - unfortunately it doesn't show in our photo.

Note: The thread on the right hand pedal means that you do it up in the normal way - turn clockwise (or to the right if you don't wear a watch). This means that over tome (as you pedal) the thread will become tighter and tighter - which may make it difficult to remove.

Tools required:

15mm thin spanner (preferably a pedal wrench / spanner to give good leverage as pedals can become screwed on pretty tight after years of hard pushing)

Brompton part number: QPEDRHBB

The reflectors had broken off my pedal and it was starting to grind a bit. I had read that removal and re-fitting might require a special pedal wrench but in fact it was very easy to fit as both the original and replacement pedal had a socket for an allen key on the inside so I was able to use that and an adjustable spanner.
