This has been the standard tyre supplied with all new Brompton folding bikes since 2010.
The Brompton folding bicycle tyre size is 16 1 3/8 " or ETRTO size 37-349.
The Kevlar lining underneath the tread helps to greatly reduce the chance of getting a puncture.
The reflective side wall on the tyre will help improve your visibility - especially to cars approaching you from the side and as you pull out of junctions.
Our recommended inner tube for this tyre is: AV4 , Brompton supply the QTUB as standard.
Tyre pressures for the Brompton kevlar tyre:
Front: 75 to 90 PSI (max 100 PSI / 6.8 bar)
Rear: 85 to 100 PSI (max 100 PSI / 6.8 bar)
