About your delivery

Free, fast delivery on all orders to UK mainland is standard from Brilliant Bikes*

(*Sorry we don't ship complete bikes - as they need to be assembled in our workshop - just components, spare parts and accessories)

Here's how your order gets to you

First, you choose and order the stuff you want. We show you the quantities that we have in stock, so you know if it's really going to get shipped. (We hate the Internet lottery of not quite knowing if what you are ordering is really going to be sent immediately)

Then we lovingly put it in a suitable sized package - reusing boxes / packaging wherever possible (it may not always look the best - but we try to do what is best to reduce waste).

We try and ship all orders - for items which are in stock - as quickly as possible. Monday to Friday, if you order before 3pm and Saturday before 11am it should almost certainly be sent the same day.

(Did we mention that we use Royal Mail 1st class for all of our deliveries where possible? - although for some larger / heavier / valuable items we will use other carriers - even though it may say Royal Mail when you select carrier - sorry!)

Live in the Highlands / Islands / Northern Ireland part of the UK (someone asked if Wales counted - yes, we think it's still part of the UK)? - we still don't charge for delivery.

The Royal Mail (or an express carrier company) then work their magic - and somehow it ends up where you wanted it delivered.

Large / high value orders

Note: If your order is too big to put through the letter box and you are not in, then postman will probably leave you a nice card asking you to collect from your local post office.

Another note: If it is too big to go via Royal Mail we will send with UPS / TNT / Parcel Force - this sometimes takes longer (an extra day if it is ordered after lunch) as we have to arrange a carrier - and we check that you will be home to sign for it.

Another note: If you live really close by ... we may deliver by bike!

Updates / follow-up

When your parcel leaves us we e-mail you with a dispatch notification so you know it is on its way.

A couple of weeks after we ship your order, we'll assume it has been delivered (that's allowing for the worst case scenario - normally it should be with you in one or two days) and send you a follow up e-mail, asking for a review of what you bought so maybe you can help others make a better informed choice.

What if it doesn't go to plan?

Even with all the best of intentions - it is still possible (though not probable) that things can go wrong, unfortunately.

Just contact us by clicking here or calling us on free on 0800 756 1284 (from the UK) or +44 (0) 1276 856779 and letting us know what the issue is - and we will resolve it. (Shop open 09:00-17:30 Monday to Saturday - closed Sundays and public holidays, sorry)

Deliveries outside UK?

We can deliver to European Union countries - although this will take longer than UK deliveries (it is further away after all).

Unfortunately - we do not currently deliver outside of the European Union - sorry.

Does it look too expensive to the EU? We use DHL/Fedex/UPS - trying to get the best delivery service while keeping the cost as low as we can. If it costs us less than we charge you, we'll refund you the difference (we are not here to make money from postage)
