Battery powered lights for your Brompton

For your Brompton there is a growing choice of reflectors, dynamo lights or these battery / rechargeable lights as options which can be factory fitted or at a later date 

Since 2017 Brompton have been working with CatEye and Leanne in addition to Spanninga to make lights / brackets which don't interfere with the fold

The Current (as at 2025) range of Brompton lights includes:

Front lights:

• CatEye AMPP 500 front light - this is a popular front light which replaces the front reflector - USB rechargeable
• Be Seen front light (part of the Be Seen light set) which attaches to the integrated brake / gear lever - USB rechargeable

Rear Lights:

• Cateye VIZ 150 rear light - this fits to the special saddle mount on newer Brompton saddles - USB rechargeable
• Spanninga solo battery light - this replaces the rear reflector - battery powered
• Be seen rear light (part of the Be Seen light set) which attaches to the the Brompton specific saddle mount - USB rechargeable

So this means there is now a choice of battery powered or rechargeable USB battery powered lights 

In addition we have third party lights available from Busch and Muller / Knog
