The first new colour for 2022 - Matcha Green :)

Matcha Green (did you know Matcha is a type of green tea?) Brompton C Line folding bike - with black detailing

The previous model name was M6L (M=classic Brompton handlebar type, 6=6 gears, L=with mudguards)

Note: If you order online for assembly at home, you will need a small amount of technical knowledge - you will also need some tools for the installation of the saddle, you will also need to return to us for the recommended 100 mile service or if you have warranty issues

The Explore / 6 speed Brompton is the the most popular model. With 6 gears in a wide gear ratio, hill climbing is that bit easier.

1. Frame
Regular - all steel
Folded size: 585mm wide x 565mm tall by 270mm deep

3. Handlebars
2017 onwards classic Brompton style M-type - the classic Brompton shape offering a comfortable ride - black handlebars
Lock-on handlebar grips - held in place with allen bolts making future changing (if required) easier

4. Gears / drivechain
6 speed BWR (Brompton Wide Ratio) internal hub gear equipped rear wheel plus 2 speed derailleur system (giving 6 gears in total)
Derailleur chain tensioner
50T front chainring
100 link Brompton / SRAM chain with powerlink
Folding left hand pedal
Non-folding right hand pedal
13/16T rear sprockets 
Integrated gear shifters (left and right) 

5. Front luggage system
A front carrier block is included as standard on all Core (C Line) Brompton folding bikes from 2021 onwards
Having this carrier block will allow you to use one of the many Brompton bags
This luggage system doesn't interfere with the handling of the bike (unlike attaching to the handlebars)

6. Mudguards
Front and rear mudguards for all weather riding / commuting
Colour: Black

7. Roller wheels
Standard roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

8. Tyres / Wheels
Schwalbe Marathon 16 x 1.35 inch tyres with reflective sidewall to help make you more visible to cars when riding in the dark 
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim and 28 spokes
Schrader / car type 8mm valve 

9. Saddle and Pump
Brompton standard saddle with mounting point underneath if you wish to add the Brompton CatEye saddle mount rear light
It's a "common rail saddle" so easily changed to your preferred saddle if you have a favourite for comfort
Zefal pump which integrates into the rear bike frame

10. Seat height
Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches
(If you are taller - up to 35 inch inside leg - then an extended length seatpost can be fitted at no extra cost)
For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost 

11. Suspension
From 2018 there is only one suspension - equivalent to the old hard/firm suspension block

12. Lighting / reflectors
Reflectors front and rear
These can easily be upgraded to Brompton lighting if required
