Brompton Electric H2L - Black

The Brompton Electric was introduced in 2019 - it was a long time in the making

2020 model (there have been no changes since the original introduction) Brompton folding bike - complete with an electric (pedal assisted) 250W motor developed in conjunction with the Williams Formula 1 racing team

The Brompton Electric folding bike currently comes in a choice of black (this one) or white

This is the H type - s slightly higher riding position than the M type - for either taller people or those who prefer a more upright riding style

Brompton Electric H2L specification:

1. Frame
Regular - all steel
Folded size: 585mm wide x 565mm tall by 270mm deep

2. Colour
Main frame: Black gloss
Extremities: Black gloss
Decal colour: Electric blue

3. Handlebars
H-type - the classic Brompton shape, but in a slightly higher riding position - black handlebars
Lock-on handlebar grips - 130mm in length

4. Gears / drivechain
1 / 2 speed rear wheel combined with a 2 speed derailleur - giving two speeds in total. In co injunction with the electric motor this should be enough gearing for all but the hilliest areas

13/16 tooth rear sprocket combination 
Integrated gear shifters (left and right) 
Torque sensing bottom bracket telling the motor to provide assistance as you pedal

5. Front luggage system
The bike comes with City bag containing the battery and with enough space for carrying all your essentials

6. Mudguards
Front and rear mudguards for all weather riding / commuting - black

7. Roller wheels
Standard roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded

8. Tyres / Wheels
Schwalbe Marathon Racer 16 x 1 1/3 inch tyres with reflective sidewall to help make you more visible to cars when riding in the dark 
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim and 28 spokes
Schrader / car type 8mm valve 

9. Saddle
Standard Brompton saddle - with mounting point for the Brompton CatEye rear saddle mounted light

10. Seat height
Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches
(If you are taller - up to 35 inch inside leg - then an extended length seatpost can be fitted at no extra cost)
For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost 
Seat post bung fitted - this stops the seatpost clunking / damaging the surface when it is lowered

11. Lighting / reflectors
Front and rear lights powered by the battery
Front light is a Busch and Müller 30 lumens AVY 
Rear light is a Spanninga Solo - with built in reflector
