More info

Eazy wheels are larger in diameter than the standard Brompton rollers, have rubber tyres (a bit like inline skates) and are fitted with sealed ball bearings and allow the bicycle to be rolled along easily when fully or partly folded.

Note: Discontinued / replaced along with the introduction of 2017 model Bromptons

As standard Brompton now use these new rollers - QROLSET-LE (click here), which roll better than the old QROLM wheels and are about equvalent to the half Eazy Wheel set (for Brompton bikes without a rack)

The same effect as the old Eazy Wheels can be achieved (with the same roller wheels and a puch fit seatpost bung) with the QEZW-M6 (set) - (click here).

The bicycle can be rolled using the raised handlebar as a handle (there is no need to clamp it), or else by pushing on the raised saddle. (Note that with the saddle raised, the part folded bike will come undone if lifted off the ground).

(Also known as a half Eazy Wheel set)

This was the 2 wheel Eazy Wheel set comprising the following:

  • 2 x forward Eazy Wheels (replacing the standard roller wheels)
  • 1 x seatpost bung (for steel seatposts)
  • Washers
  • Fitting instructions

Note: Eazy wheels were designed for use on Brompton bikes fitted with a rear rack. If you choose to fit the forward Eazy wheels on a bike without a rack, it does help rolling the bike - but not as well as on a bike fitted with a rack.

Why Eazy wheels and not easy wheels - anyone know?

Brompton Q part code: QEZWSET-LE
Old Brompton Q part code (pre-2016): QEZWSET-NR
Brompton part number: 9038015
