This week - Brompton 1975 Limited Edition bike
We try and publish at least one Brompton related video a week
fits laptop
it fits my MacBook Pro (regular) with leader sleeves on - while being compact and looking small on my brommie. i got this after getting a rash on my back - will serve as a good commuting bag, super pleased !
Great service
Arrived swiftly, the video was really helpful, know which way to unscrew nuts is always a good start.
not good
mine broke after a three month period the quick release buttons are plastic and broke off . replaced them but they don’t quick release very smoothly. in face i avoid removing the quick release pedal as much as possible as it is so janky. also the place where it is supposed to store behind the head tube - i still haven’t managed to get it to fit so i put it in my pocket lol! apart from that if considered as a normal pedal they are ok but if they break again ill spend my 90£ on something of better design.
Perfect thread size for my ‘99 Raleigh Chiltern 3spd Sturmey Arc
Measure your Sturmey Archer rear hub axle and if it’s threaded diameter is 10.3mm, then this 13/32 26tpi nut is the correct one.
Nut can be used both sides not just on the left hand side.
Brompton decal
I find when you want to remove your old decal it helps by gently warming it with a hairdryer
