|Valve type:||Schrader / car / auto|
This is the inner tube most commonly used on 26 inch mountain bikes. Fits tyre sizes from 1.5 to 2.5 inches and has a Schrader / car type valve.
Why choose this inner tube?
Because an inner tube is not just a tube - they are not all the same.
Schwalbe test all of their inner tubes (twice), including inflation for 24 hours to ensure they don't lose air pressure.
Less lost air means less time inflating and more time for you, whether it's riding, in bed before work or at the office.
Manufacturers code: AV13
This inner tube fits ETRTO / ISO tyre sizes as shown below:
40-559 - 26 x 1.50 inch
47-559 - 26 x 1.75 inch
50-559 - 26 x 2.00 inch
54-559 - 26 x 2.10 inch
57-559 - 26 x 2.25 inch
60-559 - 26 x 2.30 inch
62-559 - 26 x 2.50 inch
(ETRTO tyre size can normally be found on the side of the tyre and is the most accurate way to determine which tube you need)
Extremely airtight! The Butyl rubber compound prevents pressure loss and fewer occassions to inflate Extremely reliable! Quality control for safer cycling.
Valve type: Schrader / Car / Moto / American with 8mm diameter, rim nut and valve cap. The valve cap should be fitted at all times to prevent dirt and chemicals (e.g. salt from gritting) from getting into the valve and causing corrosion.
We recommend against using tyre levers for installing your new tube as it may cause damage to the inner tube, the tyre or both.
