Park tool square taper crank puller

The Park Tool CCP-2 was the standard crank puller for the bicycle industry for over 25 years

This is the newer and updated version - the CCP-22

The tool fits most square holed cranks (such as those used on Brompton folding bikes)

The Park Tool CCP-22 uses a long comfortable handle and extra fine thread that provides the needed leverage to remove even the tightest cranks.

Park Tools' unique "floating tip" ensures smooth operation and long life.

Fits all cranks using 22mm x 1 threads and square, tapered bottom bracket spindles.

Although it is called a crank puller, crank removal is actually achieved by rotating the tool to give leverage for easy removal of cranks - so maybe crank extractor would be a better name.

The vinyl dipped handle makes the tool comfortable to use and helps avoid scratching the bike paintwork.

Instructions come with the CCP-22 tool, and you can see how to use it at the Park Tool website by clicking here.

Make sure that the tool is well screwed into the crank - so as not to damage the crane thread when trying to remove it

NOTE: For cranks using the ISIS Drive or Octalink system, use the CCP-44 or if you are not sure the CWP-7 crank puller can be used for both types

Weight: 232.4g (8.3oz)

Park Tool Reference: CCP-22
