Brompton T Line front carrier block assembly 

Brompton Advance front carrier block for the Brompton T Line 

Not suitable for A Line, C Line, P Libe, Brompton Electric or pre-2022 Brompton folding bikes

Tools required for removal:

• 4mm Allen key / hex wrench

Tools required for installation:

• 4mm Allen key / hex wrench
• Posi driv screw driver 
• a torque wrench 

Introduced in 2022 with the Brompton T Line 

installation instructions

• Remove the grub screws from the front of the bicycle, assuming it is the first time of installation
• Assemble the retaining plate (RP) and one of the bolts (B), together with a serrated washer (SW) into the front of the carrier block body (FCB) followed by the spacer (S)
• Attach this to the head tube on the bicycle; orientate correctly
• Insert the first bolt by two to three turns, do not tighten fully
• Insert the second bolt with serrated-washer, tighten by two to three turns
• Finally tighten both bolts firmly to a Torque of 4.5Nm
• Feed the bottom end of the latch lever (LL) through the hole in the base of the Front carrier block and then, holding the bottom of the Latch lever, position the top of the Latch lever inside the front carrier block
• Feed the self-tapping screw through the hole in the Latch lever and tighten

Note: the maximum weight of the front carrier block is 10kg
