Tyres for the Brompton G Line folding bike
Along with the Brompton G Line - introduced in 2024 - comes a new selection of 20 inch (ETRTO xx-406) tyres and tubes (and rim tape)
Brompton factory fitted G Line tyre options:
These tyres are available from Brompton pre-fitted at the factory on a new Brompton G Line
- Schwalbe G One Speed - with tan wall
- Continental Contact Urban - all black with reflective strip on side wall
The Schwalbe G One Speed tyre is capable of being converted to run tubeless (so no inner tube) - the G Line wheels are pre-taped to make this upgrade easier (you will still need a new valve and some tubeless sealant). The Continental Contact urban can not be run without an inner tube
Non standard G Line tyre options:
- Schwalbe Marathon
- Schwalbe Marathon Plus for the best puncture resistance - at a slight weight / grip penalty
- Schwalbe Marathon Winter - a spiked tyre designed to allow you to keep riding in icy conditions
