For 2018 the Intense Carbine mountain bike offers up a modern trail geometry (longer wheelbase and shorter chainstays), with longer reach for a more confidence-inspiring ride.

The JS Tuned suspension “enduro link” has been developed and refined, offering longer links (including a carbon upper link) to optimize leverage curve, axle path and overall performance to make the Carbine an uncompromising 29” enduro race machine.

In the UK it is available in five different builds

  • Foundation build 
  • Expert build
  • Pro build (this one)
  • Elite build
  • Factory build
     

The Pro build has the following component upgrades over the foundation build: Carbon top link, upgraded suspension (front and rear), Sram X01 rear derailleur, carbon cranks, carbon handlebars and Sram guide brakes.
