Hard-wearing Shimano metal pad compound
Will also fit XTR M966 calliper (for Manitou post-mount)
Pair of pads with replacement springs
These disc pads are also suitable for M765 (Deore XT) and M800 (Saint), for increased braking power and durability
Exactly the same specification as originally supplied, ensuring consistent performance
Note: The M965 brake system is designed so that as the brake pads become worn, the pistons gradually move outward to automatically adjust the clearance between the rotor and the brake pads. Therefore, you need to push the pistons back to their original positions when replacing the brake pads.
If oil sticks to the brake pads after oil is added, or if the brake pads are worn down to a thickness of 0.5 mm, or if the brake pad presser springs are interfering with the rotor, replace the brake pads.
Compatible with the following Shimano brake systems: BR-M975 / BR-M966 / BR-M965 / BR-M800 / BR-M775 / BR-M765 / BR-M665 / BR-M601 / BR-M595 / BR-M585 / BR-M545 / BR-M535 / BR-R505 / BR-T665 / BR-M776
