Brompton B75 / Pre-2017 M/H-type handlebars - silver

Brompton handlebars for M/H type Brompton - the handlebars are the same on M-type and H-type Bromptons - it is just the front frame / stem and brake / gear cables which are different between the two models.

This is the pre-2017 high rise model

Please note - you must change your handlebars with a like-for-like (so if you have M / H type, then replace with M / H type - as they are dependent on frame type)

Note: Handlebar grips / brakes etc not included

Another Note: The H type Brompton is new for 2012 and uses the same handlebars as the M-type Brompton but has a longer handlebar stem. 

The new 2017 onwards handlebar grips are not compatible with these handlebars

Is there any way I can raise the handlebars a couple of inches, either by way of an alternative handlebar or through an adaptor? Answer:

    Unfortunately not, the S-type stem is longer than the M-Type stem, so changing the handle bars would result in difficulties folding and cables being the wrong length.

    on 23/02/2021     Hi my wife has a 2007 M6L and would like a more upright ride. Can I change the handle bars from M to H, I presume if possible I will need to change all brake and gear cables. Thanks Answer:
    The H-type stem is a dealer supply and fit item, so would need to be fitted by a Brompton dealer. Currently it is not possible to get the frame parts as Brompton are restricting them to new bikes and crash replacements.
