Brompton BLACK front mudguard blade and flap

Brompton front mudguard - colour: black

The Brompton Black mudguards were initially only supplier on BLACK edition Brompton bikes, but were later introduced as an after-market alternative to silver in 2013

With the exception of special edition Brompton bikes, silver is the standard colour fitted at the factory 

This is the front BLACK mudguard complete with the mudguard flap.

Tip: If you want to avoid breaking your front mudguard .... as you fold the bike, turn the handlebars to the left to stop it being caught by the back wheel as it folds under.

Note: This is now suitable for 2018 onward (and pre-2018 model) Brompton bikes

The 2018 mudguard has a slightly bigger diameter fixing hole (for the new brake caliper)

The flap is rolled up in the middle of the packaging and needs to be fitted when you recieve it. You will need a 2.5mm allen key to fit the flap.

The stay - which connects the mudguard to the front fork - for this mudguard are not included - these can be purchased as a separate item and can be fitted to all bikes except the titanium super light model.
