29 inch Mountain Bike Inner Tube  - Presta valve 

Tubolito make inner tubes with a difference. This inner tube weighs in at only 45g, which is a lot lighter (about 40g less) than many inner tubes, well actually it is the lightest and smallest MTB inner tube worldwide! So smaller and lighter to carry with you. And when you do get a puncture it offers the same puncture resistance as standard butyl tubes. The Tubolito inner tubes are also made in an environmentally friendly way. 

The Tubolito inner tubes are made from TPU (thermoplastic urethane) which makes them lighter and more durable than standard inner tubes. 

The durability has been measured by a needle penetration test, this measures the force needed to penetrate the inner tube using a mandrel and the result was that they required twice the force to penetrate than a standard tube (this was MTB inner tubes).

The thermal resistance has been tested in accordance with DIN ISO 4210

They are orange - so you can spot them? No, this is to highlight the innovative nature of the inner tubes. 

The bonus as well is that they are environmentally friendly compared to standard inner tubes. The process used to make the TPU used less CO2 and water than standard manufacturing processes.  

The inner tube can be pumped up using a stand pump or a CO2 canister, the maximum pressure is dependent upon on your tyre choice and not the tubolito.

You should still check the tyre pressure monthly (for most tubes it's weekly). Running a tyre under inflated will mean that you need to put more effort into cycling and can result in damage to the tube / tyre or even the rim.

Fitting of the tyre / inner tube:

We recommend against using tyre levers when installing a tyre and tube, as it can cause damage to the tyre / inner tube or both. It may seem difficult or even impossible at first - but it is just technique, practice and patience
