This is the medium strength Park Tools Threadlocker (TLR-1) and keeps threaded components from coming loose.
Threadlocker is compatible with steel and aluminium, but not recommended for titanium fasteners. It is oil tolerant.
It is recommended by Park Tools to use their adhesive primer (AP-1) first to prepare all components and fasteners prior to application of the Threadlocker to prevent permanent bonding.
