If you're wanting a handy tote bag for a few items from the shops this might just be what you want. Used it today to carry a large loaf, carton of cream, and a can of soup. Still left room for my lock and a couple of other odds and ends, with room for a waterproof in one of the outside pockets. Although obviously designed to be zipped up I have found it carries just as well on the bike with bulky items and the top open.

Usual Brompton quality gives a simple zip top bag which attaches quick and easy to the bike. Off the bike you have a conveniently sized shoulder bag which doesn't shout "cyclist" to the rest of the world. I would be amazed if I was able to wear out the bag's fabric any time soon. Although supplied with a rain cover I would be surprised if I ever actually use it given the use I expect to make of it going forward.

If you need more space or you expect it to rain there are other bags in the Borough range which will suit. As I say, "Horses for courses"
