Fibrax brake pads and holders (and spare pads)

We have a lot of people looking at Brompton spare parts and accessories on our site - these brake pads and holders are the ones which were, until 2016, used by Brompton

They are made in the UK by Fibrax

The colour matches the standard v3 Brompton Brake callipers (gold / bronze colour)

If you use these pads on your Brompton, then the will improve braking performance, even on older Brompton brake calipers

On the other hand - they are compatible with most road bikes too - in fact they are marked as for use on Dura Ace brake systems

This is the rubber brake pad insert plus the metal holder / brake shoe - if you already have the Fibrax brake cartridge holder - save yourself some money and just buy the new inserts here.

These are the brake pads / holders used by Brompton until mid 2016 when Brompton changed to a more generic black brake block. These ones actually match the brake calipers better than the ones now supplied by Brompton - if you are looking for blocks to colour match your calipers, these are the ones you want

Rubber inserts are held in using an allen bolt - requiring a 2mm Allen key / hex wrench for changing

Technical note: These pads with holders can be fitted to older style single and dual pivot Brompton brakes and will improve performance.
