Brompton C Line 12-speed Explore Mid - Racing Green

The 12-speed version of the C Line was introduced in 2025

Gearing wise it uses 4 derailleur gears combined with 3 internal hub gears - which give 12 speeds in total

Brompton C Line Explore Mid Racing Green specification:

All steel:

Folded size: 585mm wide x 565mm tall by 270mm deep

106 link Brompton advance chain with connecting link
Superlight removable left hand pedal - black
Super light non-removable right hand pedal - black
4 rear rear sprockets 
Integrated 4-speed gear shifter on left side of bars - black - for derailleur
Integrated 3-speed gear shifter on right side of bars - black - for hub gears
5. Front luggage system

The C Line comes with the front carrier block fitted 

6. Mudguards / Rack
This bike comes with black advance mudguards
No rack / roller frame is included - though one can be retro-fitted
7. Roller wheels

New advance roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

8. Tyres / Wheels

Schwalbe Marathon Racer tyres - black / reflective
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim

  • 28 spokes  on the rear
  • 28 spokes on the front

The wheels have black hubs, silver spokes and black rims (the braking surface is still silver)

Schrader / car type 8mm valve 

9. Saddle

Brompton standard saddle (147mm wide) featuring chromoly rails with the fixing point for the Brompton Cateye or Be Seen rear light 

10. Seat height
Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches
(If you are taller - up to 35 inch inside leg - then an extended length seatpost can be fitted at no extra cost)
For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost 

Saddle height insert is included - we recommend you fit that after riding the bike for a while
11. Suspension
Along with the new C Line 12-speed comes a new advance suspension block
12. Lighting / reflectors

Front and rear reflectors are included
It's easy to retrofit battery lighting such as:

  • Brompton Spanning solo rear light
  • Brompton CatEye 500lm front light
  • Brompton Be Seen light set
