Chain tensioner for the following Brompton folding bikes:

What's in the packet

The kit includes the following parts: 

• The advance chain tensioner x 1
• Counter Sunk Screw x 1
• Counter sunk Nut x 1

Removal / Fitting instructions:

Firstly remove the chain tensioner as follows: 

• Disengage the chain tensioner to loosen the chain
• Remove the rear wheel by removing the skewer bolt musing a 5mm Allen (hex) key
• Ensure your tyre is deflated the pass through the brake calliper
• Remove the chain tensioner by removing the counter sunk screw using a 5mm Allen (hex) key 

Installation instructions: 

• Place the chain tensioner into position on the rear frame dropout. 
• Insert the counter sunk nut in the hole on the inside of the rear frame dropout. 
• Screw the counter sunk screw into the counter sunk nut while holding the chain tensioner.Then tighten to 5Nm.
