SRAM 8 speed PowerLink - Silver

This PowerLink from SRAM is for use with 3/32 inch chains (including Brompton chains - which are actually 8-speed chains)

It makes connecting / completing of the chain much easier when compared to having to use a rivet

It's always useful to carry a spare, as makes repairing a broken chain (even if its a temporary repair) a lot easier

This Powerlink is compatible with the following Brompton chains:

• QCHAIN096DR - 96 link 3/32 chain
• QCHAIN098DR - 98 link 3/32 chain
• QCHAIN100DR - 100 link 3/32 chain
• QCHAIN102DR - 102 link 3/32 chain

As used on the Brompton 16 inch wheel folding bike with a 2-speed, 3-speed, 5-speed or 6-speed setup

Handy tip: We tend to keep the correct equivalent of these stuffed into the end of the handlebars (just in case) - not just on our Bromptons but on all bikes - a broken chain can end a ride - and a spare link can save it!

The power link make chain removal and installation easy - this one is re-useable (up to 5 times)

No tools are required (though they can be helpful - especially for removal) - we recommend the MLP-1 Master Link Pliers from Park tool
