Replacement Brompton Spider 50T chain guard

The Brompton "spider" crankset was introduced in January 2013 - this is the guard disc (to stop you getting grease on your trousers) which is part of that crank set.

The guard has the size embossed into it - allowing you to choose the correct one (if you still have the original) without counting the number of teeth on the chain ring

Note: This is not compatible with the older fixed chainset which was discontinued in 2016

It is held in place with 5 self tapping screws (included)

Where to find a chain-guard for the 50T non-spider chainwheel for the S.A. 3-speed Brompton of 2001-2. Thanks. Answer:
So sorry, these were discontinued by Brompton in 2015. So if you want to change your crank set you will also need to change the bottom bracket, if this is something you want to do please let us know and we can help you with what parts to order.

. Many thanks for your courteous reply. Since the Brompton is virtually unused, I will live in hope of finding a used one. Mine is another example of a folder purchased, used little and sent to auction by the executors! I also have a split conical plastic frame wheel. What is your recommended replacement, please. Many thanks, Bob CC. Answer:
Our favourites are the Eazy wheels as the help the bike roll well. link as follows: https://brilliantbikes.co.uk/brompton-rollers/564-brompton-eazy-wheel-qezwrolf-6.html
