Black Brompton 50T chain ring

The new Brompton "Spider" crankset was introduced on new Brompton bicycles at the beginning of 2013. This is the BLACK edition version - with the chainring in black instead of silver.

This is a replacement 50 tooth chain ring complete with guard - BLACK edition

Note: This is just the chain ring / guard, and doesn't include the pedals / cranks etc

It can be used to replace the 44, 50 or 54 teeth chain rings on a "spider" type crank.

A standard 3 or 6 speed Brompton comes with a 50 tooth front chain ring (this size)

    on 16/02/2021     HiThe chainring replacement vid is great, but with the changing from 50 to 54t, it doesn’t mention how many links longer the chain needs to be....Can this be confirmed please?ThanksSteve Answer:
    The chain needs go be two links longer than current. So if your largest rear sprocket 16T then it needs to be 102 link chain. If a 13T is the largest it needs to be 100 link.
