Brompton BLACK hinge clamp plate

The Hinge clamp plate is just the plate part of the hinge clamp assembly, which is used on both the main frame assembly and the handlebar stem

These BLACK hinge clamp plates were originally only available on the BLACK edition version Brompton folding bikes - anodised black - they went on sale to the after-market in 2016

When done up it stops the handlebar stem / main frame from folding

Over time these can wear and need replacing in order to ensure the bike is locked in the unfolded position with no frame movement
