This is the silver version!
The Brompton cable fender disc is designed for Brompton folding bikes without a front mudguard fitted
A Brompton folding bike without mudguards is an "E" type - with mudguards is a "L" type and with mudguards and rack is a "R" type
Updated in 2019 to a full circular disc rather than just over semi-circle
Early versions of the new 2019 fender disc were black
This has now been changed so it is silver
Fits to the left hand side (as you sit on the bike) of the front fork and prevents the cables from rubbing on the front wheel when turning
Tip: It's best to fit it while the front wheel is removed
Brompton Q part code: QCFDISC
Brompton part number: 9017171
Made in: China
We made this short video to show how / where it fits as part of the front mudguard removal
2019 update - just after we made the above video, the design changed from a partial disc to a full disc - so we made this update video.
