Brompton G Line electric Tektro Disc Kit Left Hand Lever

This is the left hand, rear brake lever as installed on the Brompton G line electric bike. 

Installation of these brake calibers and lever should be performed by a qualified mechanic 

The following parts are in the packaging:

• Left hand / rear brake lever - TRP 
• Hydraulic brake cable  
• Brake caliper - FMR
• Relevant fixings 

Installation as follows: 

Installation of the rotor:

• Tools - Torx T25 with torque wrench 
• Remove the wheel
• Note the rotation of the wheel 
• Ensure the rotation of the rotor is correct
• Attach the rotor to the hub with the supplied Torx bolts
• Tighten in a sequence where the two opposite bolts are tightened first and second, then the following opposite bolts and the third set of opposite bolts
• Tighten all bolts to a final tightness of 4 - 6Nm
• Re-instal the wheel 

Installation of the brake lever:

• Tools required - 4mm, 3mmAllen wrench and a torque wrench of 4mm 
• Adjust the brake lever to the desired position. 
• Tighten the 4mm Allen key bolt to secure the lever in place
• Tighten to 6 - 8 Nm
• You can adjust the reach of the shifter using a 2 mm Allen Key

Installation of the caliper: 

• Before insulating the caliper ensure the wheel is correctly seated in the dropouts
• The brake rotor should be on the caliper mounting side
• Make sure the pads are seated correctly - do not tighten the bolts at this stage 
• With the caliper mounting bolts still loose squeeze the brake lever 

Attaching the hydraulic disc hose:

• Insert the barb
