20 inch puncture pouch multitool & inner tube
The tool kit is just easy to keep on the bike and forget about it until you need it (rather than finding you are stranded as you forgot to pack your tools for this ride!)
This long awaited tool pouch from Brompton finally hit the streets in April 2024
It sits in the triangle on the main frame - like the the triangular "sandwich bag" that came with the final CHPT3
The kit contains a collection of essential tools for your Brompton G Line - we think it's a must have accessory!
Every Brompton G Line should have one of these! (In our opinion)
Remember: tyre levers should be used as an aid when removing tyres - but not when fitting, for tyre installation you need technique, not brute force - to avoid damaging the tyre or inner tube - see below for how to fit a tyre with no lever and how to remove a tyre using the levers included in this tool kit
Multi-tool contents:
Useful for the following components on the G Line
The Brompton G Line tool pouch is just for the G Line - there is an alternative pouch for the A Line and C Line
Note: Not compatible with G Line Electric
Fitting of a tyre on a Brompton folding bike - without using tools

Saved the day - but need 19mm spanner for G Electric
This little unit saves the day doing the round trip of Rutland water. Unbelievably a piece of flint cut through the front tyre on a rough section. Tyre deflated in seconds. The spare inner tube, tyre lever just to get things started and importantly the Hex Key enabled me to be back on the track in minutes. My mini pump however was not the best but an other cyclist lent me one for final inflation, I have a Lezyne mini pump on order.
HOWEVER, a good job it was a front puncture, the G line electric needs a 19mm spanner, not 15mm and also a 2 mm Hex key is needed to loosen the chain catcher for rear wheel removal this is not included. So for my survival kit I am adding to this a Lezyne Grip Drive HV mini pump, a 2mm hex key and a short stubby 19mm spanner. So great pouch it saved me, but pop in a 2mm Hex key, make sure you have a good mini pump, and if on the G line electric make sure you have a short 19mm spanner. Pump and spanner can go in battery case. @Brill. Bikes would be worth mentioning in description that a 19mm is needed for those on G Line electrics.
