Brompton G Line Front Wheel Through Axle

The G Line (20 inch Brompton introduced in 2024) comes with a bolt through front axle - this gives increased strength

The pack consists of:

  • 1 x bolt through front axle (100mm x 12mm)


Tools required for removal:

  • 6mm Allen key 

Undo the axle (turn anti clockwise) - undone from the drive side (right had as you sit on bike)
Remove axle from forks
Wheel can now be removed

Tools required for fitting: 

  • 6mm Allen key
  • Torque wrench

Fit the front wheel, ensure it is the correct orientation
Insert the axle 
Tighten to 9NM-11NM using a torque wrench 

Introduced by Brompton in 2024 along side the G Line
