Brompton short length seat post - silver

This seatpost has been made for people who find the standard length seatpost too long. It is 6cm shorter than the standard length. 

Length: 47.5cm / 18.7 inches 

The Brompton seat post is available in 3 lengths and two colours

• Standard length - for riders up to 33 inch inside leg 
• Extended length - for riders up to 35 inch inside leg - 6cm longer
• Telescopic - for taller riders

• Avalile in Silver (this one) and Black

This is manufactured by Brompton and then shortened by Kinetics for us. 

(In the early days of Brompton they used a titanium seatpost, then later there was also an aluminium seatpost available - these have now been discontinued - titanium due to supply issues and aluminium due to long term quality issues - the coating discoloured over time)

The Brompton seatpost has a 31.6 mm diameter through most of its length (with a flange at one end to stop it raising too far and a narrower end for the saddle to attach to)

The seatpost is installed on the Brompton from underneath (the flange at the bottom stops the seatpost being raised too far)

Remember: Never lubricate the seatpost
