    on 21/08/2019     I'd like to get replacement handlebar grips for my 2009 M6R Brompton (in the rarely-seen Famingo Pink). Black or grey would be fine, but I want lock-on grips. Why won't the newest (post-2017) Brompton grips fit? If I wanted the Ergon grips, would any models fit?BTW: I love the Brilliant Bikes YouTube videos, especially when someone tries to say triptych. Answer:
    Thanks for your feedback on our YouTube videos The new lock on grips are 130mm long, which is too long for the old M-type / H-type handlebars - due to the curve You could use Ergon GP1 grips - though they require a sharp knife and a small medical procedure to remove a small amount - we will make a video about it and try and get the word triptych in there somewhere!
