Brompton wheel upgrade kit, Sram 3 Speed to Sturmey Archer 3 Spe
My SRAM hub finally gave up the Ghost (circa 14 years old!), so ordered one of these. Its a very straight forward swap really, all bits are included assuming your cable is in good condition. The old SRAM changer appears to work fine with it and installation from start to finish including swapping tyre over was under an hour. Noticeable difference in how smoothly the bike runs and gear change is nice and crisp. I would strongly recommend buying this kit as you need nothing else other than the tools to do the job. HOWEVER, if you are wantng this in under a week choose next day delivery, although Brilliant BIkes dispatched this on a Thursday by First Class mail it arrived the following Wednesday. What exactly is FIRST Class about that service Royal Mail? NOTHING... thats what!
