This XTR 11-speed chainring has been discontinued in 2025 and is replaced by SMCRM81A2 - SM-CRM81 XT 11spd M8000 1X DCE single chainring 32T

Dynamic Chain Engagement (DCE) is used to hold the chain and help prevent chain jump out. This is achieved by using a broader and taller tooth profile in conjunction with a special hooked leading edge. This all aids holding the chain firmly on uneven terrain while keeping chain noise and drag to a minimum and increases durability

Hollow gear construction for optimized rigidity, lightweight and durability

Durable teeth using a Stainless steel construction supported by a carbon and alloy carrier body on 36T/34T, alloy carrier body on 32T/30T
