This is a 9-speed chain as used on the 8-Speed (confusingly) G line introduced in 2024

It is 114 link chain, this is correct for the 8-speed G line with a 54 tooth front chain ring and 20T rear sprocket

If you change your front chain ring to a smaller size you will need to shorten the chain as follows: 

Tools required for removal:

• Master link pliers

Tools required for installation:

• Master link pliers

When installing it is recommended to use new sprockets along with the new chain

This chain is not compatible with Brompton A, C, P or T Line or the G line electric 

This chain is new for 2024

Note - the early chains are labeled up as SRAM, but the chain is YBN
