It's a BLACK edition Brompton with a nickel finish!

NICKEL BLACK edition 2018 specification - NICKEL plated Brompton folding bike model M6L (M=handlebar type, 6=6 gears, L=with mudguards) with black extremities and components

Is it a black edition? - yes. Is it a nickel edition? - yes. It's both, with a main frame plated with a shiny nickel and the extremities and detailing in black

The nickel plating reflects the light of the the bikes surroundings, turning it into a bit of a chameleon

Regular - all steel

3. Handlebars and steering
M-type - the classic Brompton shape offering a comfortable ride - new low-rise version for greater stiffness
The new handlebars also feature the lock-on form handlebar grips. These are now a standard size so can be replaced by standard grips (e.g. Ergon) if you so desire
Headset: Black

4. Gears / drivechain
6 speed BWR (Brompton Wide Ratio) internal hub gear equipped rear wheel plus 2 speed derailleur system (giving 6 gears in total) - black hub, spokes and rims (excluding braking surface)
Derailleur chain tensioner
50T front spider chainring (black instead of silver) - with removable / changeable chain ring
100 link Brompton / SRAM chain with powerlink
Folding left hand pedal - black
Non-folding right hand pedal - black
13/16T rear sprockets 

5. Front luggage system
Mounting lugs for future fitting of a Front carrier block

6. Mudguards / rack
Front and rear mudguards for all weather riding / commuting - Black
No rack, but one could be retro-fitted if you require

7. Roller wheels
Standard roller - new 2017 onwards version - wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

8. Tyres / Wheels
Free upgrade to Schwalbe Marathon 16 x 1.35 inch tyres with reflective sidewall to help make you more visible to cars when riding in the dark 
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim and 28 spokes - for the black edition, the wheels have black hubs, black spokes and black rims (the braking surface is still silver)
Schrader / car type 8mm valve 

9. Saddle
Standard black Brompton saddle - new 2016 onwards model with the possibility to mount the Brompton CatEye mini light under the saddle

10. Seat height
Extended seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement over 33 inches - black edition

Hard suspension - suitable for riders above 70kg
(If you are below this weight this block is still suitable for you, but will give a firm/sporty ride - if you prefer it softer we can fit a standard suspension block instead for no extra cost)
