Tempest Blue 2019 specification Brompton folding bike model H6L (H=handlebar type for a more relaxed / higher riding position, 6=6 gears, L=with mudguards)

The 6 speed Brompton is rapidly becoming the the most popular model with 6 gears in a wide gear ratio makes hill climbing that bit easier. This Tempest blue colour blends in with the corporate work crowd, with just a little bit more colour than the most popular black colour

3. Handlebars
2017 onwards style H-type - the classic Brompton shape offering a comfortable ride, with 6cm extra height for a more relaxt position - silver handlebars
New (introduced in 2017) lock-on handlebar grips - held in place with an allen bolt instead of glue, making future changing (if required) easier

4. Gears / drivechain
6 speed BWR (Brompton Wide Ratio) internal hub gear equipped rear wheel plus 2 speed derailleur system (giving 6 gears in total)

5. Front luggage system
No front carrier block is included - but if you ask nicely we'll probably add one for you

6. Mudguards
Front and rear mudguards for all weather riding / commuting

Standard roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

8. Tyres / Wheels
Schwalbe Marathon Racer 16 x 1 1/3 inch tyres with reflective sidewall to help make you more visible to cars when riding in the dark 
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim and 28 spokes
Schrader / car type 8mm valve 

9. Saddle
Standard Brompton saddle with mounting point underneath if you wish to add the Brompton CatEye saddle mount rear light

10. Seat height
Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches
(If you are taller - up to 35 inch inside leg - then an extended length seatpost can be fitted at no extra cost)
For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost 

11. Suspension
From 2018 there is only one suspension - equivalent to the old hard/firm suspension block
