Flame Lacquer is a kind of burnt orange colour, which looks especially good in outdoor natural daylight - new for the 2019 model range - Brompton folding bike model M6L (M=handlebar type, 6=6 gears, L=with mudguards)

(Unfortunately we sold our first one before we had time to take a real picture - and this is in short supply, we are not sure when - or if - they will be back)

The 6 speed Brompton is rapidly becoming the the most popular model with 6 gears in a wide gear ratio makes hill climbing that bit easier

There is no difference from the 2019 - other than the slight price increase!

Direct delivery to your home:

If you choose for home delivery, we will check it's all OK and ready to go - but you will need to fit the saddle (so some mechanical knowledge is required)
A 100 mile check is recommended - you would need to return to us for this to be done
In the unlikely event that there are warranty issues - these would need to be handled through us
We may request proof of ID / address before shipping

2017 onwards style M-type - the classic Brompton shape offering a comfortable ride - silver handlebars
New (introduced in 2017) lock-on handlebar grips - held in place with an allen bolt instead of glue

6 speed BWR (Brompton Wide Ratio) internal hub gear equipped rear wheel plus 2 speed derailleur system (giving 6 gears in total)

100 link Brompton / SRAM chain with powerlink

5. Front luggage system
A front carrier block can be added at time of purchase or at a later date to make the addition of luggage (Brompton bags) easy
The Brompton luggage range allows you to carry stuff on the bike without interfering with the ride or rider - it simply clicks onto the carrier block on the front of the bike

6. Mudguards
Front and rear mudguards for all weather riding / commuting
Colour: Silver (with black mudguard flaps)

7. Roller wheels
Standard roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

8. Tyres / Wheels
Schwalbe Marathon Racer 16 x 1.35 inch tyres with reflective sidewall to help make you more visible to cars when riding in the dark 
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim and 28 spokes
Schrader / car type 8mm valve 

9. Saddle
Standard Brompton saddle

10. Seat height
Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches
(If you are taller - up to 35 inch inside leg - then an extended length seatpost can be fitted at no extra cost)
For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost 

11. Suspension
From 2018 there is only one suspension - equivalent to the old hard/firm suspension block
