Brompton C Line Black Edition Explore Mid Bar - Turkish Green / Black

The BLACK edition Brompton folding bikes prove very popular each year - and are only available in limited numbers

This was previously known as a M6L
M = Mid ride handlebars
6 = Explore version with 6 gears (2 x 3) using a combination of 3 speed hub gear and a derailleur
L = Mudguards (from 2022 all C Line - Core - bikes come with mudguards fitted as standard)

Brompton C Line Black Edition Explore Mid Bar - Turkish Green / Black specification:

1. Frame
Regular - all steel
Folded size: 585mm wide x 565mm tall by 270mm deep

2. Colour
Main frame: Turkish Green
Extremities: Black
Decal: Black (on a normal Turkish Green bike in 2017 it was white - just for info)

3. Mid ride handlebars
2017 onwards low-rise style Mid rise / M-type - the classic Brompton shape offering a comfortable ride - limited edition black bars
Lock on 130mm handlebar grips - better compatibility with other brands of grips (if you ever wanted to change them to Ergon for example)

4. Gears / drivechain
6 speed BWR (Brompton Wide Ratio) internal hub gear - black hub - equipped rear wheel plus 2 speed derailleur system (giving 6 gears in total)
Derailleur chain tensioner
50T front chainring (black instead of silver)
100 link Brompton / SRAM chain with powerlink
Folding left hand pedal - black
Non-folding right hand pedal - black
13/16T rear sprockets 
New 2017 onwards style gear shifters (left and right) - black

5. Front luggage system
The Brompton front carrier block is now fitted as standard on Brompton C Line / Core bikes - since 2021 - ready for the addition of Brompton luggage options

6. Mudguards
Front and rear mudguards for all weather riding / commuting - black

7. Roller wheels
Standard roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

8. Tyres / Wheels
Schwalbe Marathon Racer 16 x 1.35 tyres with reflective sidewall to help make you more visible to cars when riding in the dark 
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim and 28 spokes - for the black edition, the wheels have black hubs, black spokes and black rims (the braking surface is still silver)
Schrader / car type 8mm valve 

9. Saddle and Pump
Standard black Brompton saddle - with mounting point for Cateye read light (optional extra) 
New Lezyne pump

10. Seat height
Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches
(If you are taller - up to 35 inch inside leg - then an extended length seatpost can be fitted at no extra cost)
For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost
