Shimano Alivio V Brake - Front - Black

Replacement of old Shimano calipers on my 20 yr old Muddy Fox

Brilliant Bikes found a fault in my bike when I took it for a separate repair, alerting me to the fact that the brake return springs had failed in the plastic sleev and the brakes were rubbing even when not braking instead of both arms springing back. The most cost effective and sustainable fix was a straight replacement with Shimano "v" Brakes which matched the bike Brilliantly and work more smoothly and powerfully than the originals. Cost was very acceptable.
