The SV-8 dynamo hub is a 28 hole ultra-slim dynamo hub with 74mm quick release type axle compatible with Brompton folding bikes, for your front wheel

Uses the same axle as the Brompton super light / SON / Shimano dynamo wheels / hubs - 7.9mm diameter

Available in Black or Red

Suitable for wheel size 400mm(16”) to 535mm(20“)

The SV-8 is the previous version to the SV-9 and this hub (the SV-8) is about to be used in the newer Brompton bicycles. The output of 3.0w is designed to match the German StVZO 6V3W/20” regulation (the Germans have a tough regulations on lights - so they become the tough baseline to measure up to). The SV8 claims it is 72% efficient (thats good!)
