Originally a seasonal colour from Brompton for 2023 - Bumblebee Yellow Brompton C Line folding bike - with black detailing, which proved so popular that the colour was bought back in 2024

The previous model name was S2L (S=straight / sports handlebar type, 2=2 gears, L=with mudguards)

The 6 speed Brompton is rapidly becoming the the most popular model with 6 gears in a wide gear ratio makes hill climbing that bit easier. This Black Brompton blends in with the corporate work crowd.

This luggage system doesn't interfere with the handling of the bike (unlike attaching to the handlebars)

Rack: No rack is fitted - but it is possible (at extra cost) to fit a standard Brompton rack before purchase - or at a later date

Standard roller wheels help keep the bike stable when folded 

There are two roller wheels on the rear triangle / frame and a third one on the rear mudguard

Schwalbe Marathon 16 x 1.35 inch tyres with reflective sidewall to help make you more visible to cars when riding in the dark 
Low rolling resistance and good puncture protection 
16 inch (ETRTO size 349) wheels with double wall rim and 28 spokes

Brompton standard saddle with mounting point underneath - this allows (if you wish) you to add the Brompton CatEye saddle mount rear light
No pump is supplied - but you could add a Brompton Lezyne pump which attaches to the rear of the bike frame so you don't forget to carry it with you

Standard seatpost for riders with an inside leg measurement of up to 33 inches
(If you are taller - up to 35 inch inside leg - then an extended length seatpost can be fitted at no extra cost)
For very tall riders a telescopic seatpost is available at extra cost 

From 2018 there is only one suspension - equivalent to the old hard/firm suspension block

Reflectors front and rear are included

These can easily be upgraded to Brompton lighting if required for example:

• Brompton Cateye 500LM front light which attaches in place of the front reflector
• Brompton Spanninga rear battery light which replaces the rear reflector
• Brompton Be Seen light set - the front light attaches to the integrated brake / gear lever and the rear light attaches to the Brompton saddle
