Brompton Derailleur set, for converting 1 speed to 2 speed, excludes cables

The Brompton 1-speed / single speed folding bike uses the same rear wheel as a two speed Brompton. This kit contains what you need to add the derailleur mechanism and controls to conver from 1 to 2 speed

This conversion kit comprises the following:

• Chain tensioner assembly (QCTADR) - this is different to the chain tensioner used on the 3 speed in that the jockey wheels have side-to-side movement to allow the chain to move between sprockets
• Chain pusher assembly (CHPUA)
• Chain pusher wing plate (QCHPUWPL/SP)
• Cable spring outer 
• Trigger with bell and cap (QGTRIGDRA) - is used on a pre 2017 model Brompton, this is the non-integrated shifter
• Sprocket stack (12T/16T) - this is the Brompton 2 speed sprocket stack - consisting of a 12T shimano splined and a 16T shimano splined sprocket as well as a spacer and dust cover. These sprockets simply replace the single sprocket used on the 1-speed rear wheel
• Chain 100 link (QCHAIN100DR) - assuming you have a 50T front chainring. If you have a 54T chainring then you will need a 102 link chain

You will also need the derailleur gear cable for your handlebar type / age of bike (integrated / non-integrated shifter)

Brompton single / two speed rear wheel - QRW2SS (silver or black version)

Brompton 3 or 6 speed wide range rear wheel - QRW3SS-BWR

This was discontinued in 2018 with the introduction of the new integrated gear shifters, but we will make this kit up for you - the components will vary slightly depending upon the age of your bike
