This is for Pre-2017 model Brompton folding bikes

Brompton gear cable for 3 speed Sturmey Archer / SRAM (also know as Sachs) hub gears with Brompton 3 speed trigger and S-type handlebars

Note: This is the pre-2017 model Brompton gear cable - used on Bromptons equipped with the original Sturmey Archer, Sachs/SRAM and Brompton plastic gear triggers. Not for use with the new integrated trigger introduced on 2017 model Bromptons

The packaging says that it is not for use on Sturmey Archer Torpedo triggers - but we have tried it and it works OK

This cable is also used as the hub gear cable on 6 speed SRAM/Sachs and Sturmey Archer BWR wheels

Comprises:

Cable inner - length 1411mm
Cable outer - length 1250mm

The cable is marked G3+S

Colour: Black

Tools required:

• 8mm spanner to remove the existing cable inner from the cable anchor and to re-attatch
• Cable cutter / pliers to remove the end cap from existing cable if one is installed

One end of the cable outer has a silver end and one has a black end

The silver end goes into the shifter / trigger

The black end goes into the cable pulley
