This 44 tooth "fixed" chainwheel / right hand (as you sit on the bike) crank fits all Brompton bicycle models built prior to 2013.

Note: Discontinued in 2016 / replaced by the "Spider" crankset introduced on 2013 model Bromptons

This item was finally discontinued in 2016, you should replace both the crankset and bottom bracket if yours needs replacing (the bottom bracket is slightly different to the old ones):

(The biggest advantage with these new cranksets is that you can easily change the gearing just by changing the chainring - between 44T / 50T and 54T) 

Whichever colour option you choose you will need a new JIS bottom bracket - QBBCART-119-JIS

This pre-2013 crankset attached to an ISO standard square type spindle as used on the FAG bottom brackets supplied by Brompton.

Complete with chain guard and crank cap.

Changing from the standard 50 tooth chain wheel used on the standard 3 / 6 speed Brompton to this 44 tooth chain wheel should reduce the gear ratio by 12% - making going up hill easier! (you would also need to remove 2 links from your chain)

Tools required:
CCP-22/CWP-7 - Crank puller or equivalent tool
Small flat head screwdriver (to remove cap on crank)
14mm socket (or CCW-5) to undo the bolt holding the crank in place 
Grease (such as PPL-1 from Park Tool)
