    G line (Greenway) battery can be used on old M6L/ C Line

    This frame is excellent, I have an electric G line with the new Brompton Greenway battery. This frame enables me to use this battery on my old 2018 M6L ( C line) electric bike. Also utilising the new G Line small bag or the old C line small bag. The old BMZ battery that was originally delivered with the M6L also just slots in, so effectively I have a spare battery for the C line to hot swap. The new G line battery has a more secure clip system which this frame integrates with. The big benefit of this clip is on those occasions when you hit a pot hole and the battery dislodges/faults have been virtually eliminated.
    The new Greenway battery is also an upgrade on the BMZ battery I get about 25 miles at level 3 in comparison to 20 miles on the BMZ. The Greenway battery performs better on my standard circuit to the BMZ even when this was brand new. So this frame enabling compatibility between the old and new batteries is well worth it if you have access to the new 2025 Brompton Greenway battery for your old Brompton M6L/C line Electric.

    Doesn’t last long

    I just replaced mine with the Shimano one. This plastic one only lasted 3 years!

    Beautiful bit of kit

    So much nicer than the black plastic one from Brompton that lasted only 3 years.

    They don’t last long on dirty roads

    I swap mine between the tensioner role and the gear change role. Only the gear change one gets worn down by grit between it and the chain pusher, so you can make a set last twice as long by swapping them.
