  Schwalbe Marathon Winter 16 x 1.2 studded winter tyre

  Does the business, but a nightmare to fit.

  As far as I'm aware, these are the only show in town if you want Brompton-sized studded tyres.
  
  They certainly do the job, and unless you live in seriously icy conditions it's only really necessary to fit one on the front to stop the steering from washing out.
  
  Obviously there's a weight penalty and you'll sound like you're riding over a bag of crisps, but they do grip pretty well, even at 100psi.
  
  The downside are an obvious weight penalty (granted, not that noticeable on my C-Line as it's already a bit porky) and they're a nightmare to fit. You _will_ need the aid of a tyre lever or two unless you're blessed with thumbs of steel.
  
  For best results, run them at a slightly reduced pressure (70-80psi) for the first few rides in order to get the studs properly bedded in.

  5 speed rear wheel with wide range Sturmey Archer hub for Brompton

  5 speed conversion

  Recently converted my 15 year old 3 speed with this kit.
  
  Went from 3 gears with 50 front cog . To 5 gears with 44 front cog ( 14 rear ).
  
  Super happy with the results .
  
  So much of what I took to be limitations of Bromptons , turned out to be , limitations of too few gears . And being
  Too highly geared.

  Brompton front mudguard stay TITANIUM, c/w HOOK & fixings.

  Nice, but won’t last forever (what will?)

  I like this. The Ti seems stiffer than the steel it replaced, as well as being much lighter. But I just had to replace mine after 14 years and 20,000 km. the wire had fractured between the wheel nut and the hook. I think it’s a fatigue issue, and I’ve reported it to Brompton.

  Brompton / CatEye saddle mounted rear light

  Insecure fixing... also, Battery self discharges.

  I have had two of these lights, which are bright and run for a good long time on the flashing setting. However the light falls off far too easily, and gets lost, even when you know about the problem, and when you ARE taking care!
  
  My second copy of this light has also developed a fault. It now does not hold its charge, meaning the light will not operate if left unused for a few days/one week. This has happened after fewer than 8 recharges , approx 10 months usage.

  Brompton Spanninga Solo battery powered LED rear light

  Very poor

  This light has one single LED so its not very bright. The unit failed within a year and was replaced. (Thanks Brilliant Bikes). The replacement worked fine for 6 months but then the LED seems to have dimmed and produces so little light even with new batteries that I feel unsafe using on its own.
